I've spent the last 2 days playing around in Unity to see if the functions I need for my game are available.
I'm in no way a programmer so coding takes me a really long time to fully understand. After watching some tutorials though, I was able to make some basic functions work, which is great since what I'm going for isn't very complex.
+Put together a point-and-click code that was much easier than I expected
+Probably the step that took me the longest was figuring out the GUI. The main mechanic of this game is the ability to click a button to go to the next screen and clicking objects to bring up descriptive text.
Now I'm going back to the text version of the game and doing an updated version in Twine before testing out anymore functions. Most likely the next functions I'll be needing will involve implementing a simple choice system and playing cutscenes
